ESPN will be doing The Frozen Four and the all the Regions in Men's D-1 Hockey. Most of the games will be on ESPNU and ESPN3.
The NCAA hockey tournament gets going starting this weekend, which means we get our lone look of the calendar year of actual ice hockey on the networks of ESPN.
ESPNU and ESPN3 (and the WatchESPN mobile app, etc.) will carry the regional rounds, which will take place this Friday through Sunday. ESPN2 and ESPN will broadcast the Frozen Four, which takes place in Pittsburgh this year. Some regional sports networks around the country will also be covering the games being broadcast on ESPN3, so check your local listings.
John Buccigross and Barry Melrose are the lead broadcast team for the NCAA Tournament. Former NHL on VERSUS analyst Darren Eliot also joins the party. Buccigross, Melrose and Clay Matvick will call the Frozen Four.
